Mr. Neff is a shareholder with the firm. Before becoming an attorney with the firm, he was a high school social studies teacher and coach for several years and served as the firm’s law clerk from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Neff assists clients with a variety of education law issues, including special education, student discipline, negotiations, and labor and employment matters. He has represented boards of education in state and federal court, teacher termination hearings, territory transfer hearings, labor arbitration, special education due process hearings, and in a variety of administrative proceedings including before the State Employment Relations Board, the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio High School Athletics Association, and county boards of revision. Mr. Neff frequently speaks throughout Ohio on education law topics at conferences and staff training seminars.
