Mr. Britton is one of the firm’s founders and now serves Ennis Britton in an “of counsel” capacity. John has been actively representing school boards since 1984, with a focus on human resources, labor relations and collective bargaining, special education, and board governance issues. Mr. Britton is an adjunct professor at Ashland University and helped form the Ashland Leadership Academy Seminars (ALAS), where he has served as a program coordinator and speaker since 2001. Mr. Britton is an accomplished and widely sought-after speaker and has presented nationally and throughout Ohio on topics related to education law and leadership.

In addition to legal representation, John helped to develop and is actively involved in the firm’s consulting arm (Ennis Britton Consulting Group) with a focus on educational leadership, board development, and accountability.
